2026
We recently attended the EUROMAR Conference, where members of our team shared our latest research, connected with fellow scientists, and exchanged ideas with researchers from across the international magnetic resonance community.
Anushka Singh was selected to attend the 75th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting on Lake Constance, the anniversary edition dedicated to interdisciplinary science, which brought together around 75 Nobel Laureates and over 600 young scientists.
Dr. James Eills received the Varian Young Investigator Award. The international prize endowed with $10,000 honours early-career researchers who are making significant contributions to advancing NMR through new instrumentation or methods.
Tolga successfully defended his Masters thesis "Mitigating Polarization Loss in Parahydrogen-Induced Hyperpolarization Experiments". Congratulations Tolga!
Dr. Oleksiy Khavryuchenko visited our group for a one-month research stay. He taught us how to run DFT calculations on the JURECA supercomputer to compute transition metal complex structures.
2025
Dr. James Eills was awarded the 2025 Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize for Analytical Chemistry by the DFG in Berlin. Four female scientists and six male scientists received the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize in 2025, Germany's most important award for researchers in the development phase of their careers. The award winners each received prize money of €200,000 for further research for up to three years.
